Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miracle Spray I have been a lighting rod for stray cats for some time. I had two in particular who hated each other and would fight. One time a particularly rough battle included one cat with a severe wound around his eye; looked like it may even need stitches. He wouldn't let me put him into a carrier so I went to the vet with a picture of his eye to see if they would sell me something for him. They would not because they said they would have to see him in the office. I went to Petco and saw Vetericyn on the shelf and decided to give it a try. It not only healed the cat's eye, probably saved his eye, but has helped on multiple scratches and bites since. Works wonders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Miracle in a bottle! My larger dog ripped a hole into my chihuahua's skin. I didn't have money for an emergency vet. Stopped by my local feed store for some sort of bandage and Vetericyn was recommended. Followed directions when I got home and the hole was closed the very next day! It completely healed in about 20 days. I tell everyone with a pet about Vetericyn! It's the best thing I've bought for my pets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible After extensive research I decided to try Vetrericyn on my young dogs' irritated skin. She was biting along her lower spine and we noticed she had a large 1"x 4" long area that was no holding hair. The gel worked quick and didn't leave a messy residue in her surrounding hair.

I have told so many people about the Hydrogel spray (a staple on my 5 acre ranch of 36 animals) that I even interviewed with the company at the World Ag Expo. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Surprised! My brother who has horses recommended this for my older dog who was constantly getting sores and hot spots. It didn't take long to see results. I'm very impressed with this product and I have recommended it to others. Our local Wildlife Rehabber uses it also and it is on their list of needs for their fundraiser, I bought them some last year and will again this year. I do recommend the gel, it stays on the spots better. .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Started using this five years ago for my accident prone Egyptian Arab gelding. Thought of purchasing stock in the company, NEVER without this great product. Cannon bone crud, skin fungal patches, gouges, scrapes, every and all things imaginable. Recently purchased medicated equine foam shampoo and love the results. Expensive, you get what you pay for in quality and results.

Is this helpful for a skin ulcer in a dog, and will she be able to lick it off being that it sticks to wound??

Asked by: Treasure76
Hello Treasure76 and thank you for your interest in our Vetericyn + product line. To answer your question, yes our product is helpful for skin ulcers. Once applied, yes your dog will be able to lick the product but we suggest allowing the product to penetrate for at least 30 seconds before your dog licks to allow the product to begin to work and is not harmful if licked. The product should be applied 2-3 a day until the wound has healed. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I have read some reviews of this product that state the gel hardens after a while and will not come out of the bottle. What is the reason for this?

Asked by: Isabelle
Hello Isabelle, Thank you for your question. The reason for this is that our Hydrogel needs to be shaken per use. All Hydrogels are to be shaken well before use/application. Please follow storage instructions on product label to prevent possible problems. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns. We are always happy to help!
