Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I looked for this product in several stores and couldn't find it, so I decided to purchase it online. My German Shepard has a hot spot on his paw that we couldn't seem to get rid of! The spray seems to work very well so far. A friend who is a dog trainer told me they call it liquid gold! My only complaint is that the bottle says"Do Not Let Feeeze" in big bold letters. This wouldn't usually be a problem except I ordered this in the winter and it arrived frozen solid!! I know that's just the nature of winter in Michigan. A warning would have been helpful and I could have asked a neighbor to grab the package. Or a list of stores that carry the product would have been helpful. Overall a great product though, I can only imagine how great it would be if it was never frozen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible, I really mean that. Unfortunately I came across a point in my life where I couldn't have my shihtzu maltese mix for a short amount of time (30-45 days). So a family member of mine agreed to care for him while I was gone. He also has a pure German rotweiler and a boxer pit mix. One of the happiest days I should have had quickly turned terrible. The day I went to get my little buddy back I find that he is malnourished and it seems the other dogs had been chewing on his ears and tail (open sores and severe hair loss). I immediately took him to my local mom and pop pet store (my vet was closed for the day). They recommended this product and I cannot stress enough the wonders that it worked. It's been less than a week and there is hardly even a sign of the damage they did to him. I mean it's literally incredible. That along with an amazing food recommendation by the same employee has my little buddy back to his correct weight and his hair is already growing back! This is one of the most incredible products I've ever seen and I will recommend this to everyone I possibly can.

Which of your products is most effective against dermatitis on my dog's feet? I have the Wound and Skin Care. Will that be effective or do you have a more effective product? Thanks!

Asked by: linbarn22
Hello linbarn22, Our Hot Spot Spray would be a great product for this. Since you already have our Wound and Skin Care product on had that will work just as effectively. We recommend saturating the paws 2-3 times a day. Please let us know if you have any other questions. We are always happy to help!

My Pomeranian has an awful flea allergy and because of continually scratching has lost hair around her hind end area. What medication would be best to help my poor baby get some relief and hair back.

Asked by: JaniceM
Hello JaniceM, Vetericyn Plus Hot Spot Spray would definitely help with the itchy areas. It is non toxic and safe if licked or ingested. We can not make the claim that her hair will grow back. Please let us know if you have any further questions. We are always happy to help!

My Golden Retriver has allergies and he has a lick granuloma on his back leg that he won't leave alone unless he has his e- collar on or it's wrapped. I haven't tried hot spot treatments yet, not sure if they will work.

Asked by: Suzy Q
Hello Suzy Q, Stopping his licking is key to healing a lick granuloma, unfortunately it is also very difficult to achieve, they just don't listen to us! Applying the Vetericyn to a gauze pad and then bandaging the area for awhile would help the Vetericyn stay on longer and prevent his licking for a bit. A sock, ace bandage or even duck tape can be used. Just be sure not to get it too tight and only leave it on while you are with him. Melinda J Mayfield DVM, WCSP-AH, Technical Services Veterinarian

Hi, I live in Canada, would it will it ship in a freeze protected package, planning on buying on your store in amazon.ca? Thanks

Asked by: emiliom
Hello emilion, It should come in a freeze protected package, but if not that's okay because our Vetericyn Plus liquid products still work if the product freezes. Vetericyn Plus Liquid formula can freeze and thaw without hurting the effectiveness of the product. If a bottle was frozen you will notice leaking as a result of expansion of the formula. The bottle walls may collapse after thawing out or evidence of ice may be noticeable within the solution. Our hydrogel products, however, can not be frozen.

My shihtzu has a red rash on his under belly ,groins and underarms that are scabbing over but very itchy. I believe it's a reaction to the grasses outside and his skin smells funny-yeast???  I've used Vetericyn before but should I use the Hot Spot Spray?

Asked by: Dianne
Hello Dianne, and thank you for your interest in our Vetericyn + product line. To answer your question, if you have the Vetericyn + Wound and Skin Care on hand you can use this product as well, it is not necessary to purchase the hot spot spray as well. If you haven't already tried the hydrogel spray, this would be perfect for the under belly as it adhere's better but will work in the same manner as the liquid. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask.

The print to small for me to read! How often should I put in on my dog's hot spot? I put some on last night, and it seems a little better this morning. I put some on again after I bathed her. Should I put it on every 4 hours or what?

Asked by: Victoria
Hello Victoria, We recommend that you apply 2-4 times a day. Our product can not be overused. Keep us updated on how she is doing.
