Would this be an appropriate product for a wound on my cat. It's approximately 1inch in diameter and I've tried everything but she won't leave it alone! Just keeps licking it and it won't heal! Is this a liquid bandage/sealant?

Asked by: Jasperp
Hello Jasperp, Our Hot Spot Gel would be a great to use on her wound. The gel is great because it keeps the wound moist, which is needed for wound healing. If you would like to cover the wound with gauze, we recommend that you saturate it with the gel product. Vetericyn Plus products are safe if licked or ingested and are non toxic. If you have any further concerns or questions please feel free to call us at: 866.318.3116. We are always happy to help!

How is the hydrogel different from the spray?

Asked by: Allergic Kitty
Hello Allergic Kitty, Our Vetericyn Wound & Skin Care Hydrogel is great for wound dressings. You can use it with or with out a bandage. It can be applied to the gauze and then placed on the wound. It will adhere to the wound better and will keep the wound moist. Moisture is best for healing. For cleansing and deriding and minor wounds we would recommend our liquid formulation. These two products are often used together depending on the severity of the wound. Minor wound liquid formulation. Deep wound, we would recommend using both or the hydrogel if you have to make a choice. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call us at 866.318.3116.
